It was becoming a huge effort to manage. I decided to get a keratin treatment at Petersham hair based on reviews and price. I had a very good experience with keratin treatment here. The flat rate price is so good and the process was swift and professional. (I say this as someone who has spent four and five hours getting it done at other salons and then been charged "extra" for having thick hair) Aneez was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I was given very clear instructions on how to wash/ manage my hair afterwards and also what to expect as a result of the keratin (not dead straight). My ends have been quite dry afterwards - but - this was discussed with me at the time due to the very frazzled condition of my hair when I went in. I don’t usually do reviews of hair salons but this one I think I will. The process was okay, nothing super standout. The woman who did my highlights (short brown hair) seemed really “on edge”, spoke really fast and was really quite rough. When the rinsing/shampoo time came, I almost said something while I was there because she was SUPER rough. The shampoo was going in my eyes, and her “massage” for 7 seconds was really un enjoyable and I was genuinely worried if she was okay? I saw clients before me get really lovely, calm, head massages to soak all the goodness in, and she was just super abrupt. I think this hair dresser needs a good speaking to. She could also be more friendly. The rest of the staff were also not overly friendly. My hair came out okay and nothing really wrong with the colour which is a plus.
