What can you expect from your tape hair extension appointment?
Our experienced stylists follow a detailed and thorough plan to make sure you enjoy your hair extensions experience with us.
- Before applying your extensions, our stylists will discuss your potential new look with you, including your hair care routine and how you would like to look with the extension. This discussion may take 15 minutes.
- Our next step is to colour match. We make sure that your tape hair extensions blend in seamlessly with your existing hair colour.
- After applying your extensions, we will style your hair so that you can enjoy your new look. We also share with you our hair care and styling tips and tricks so that you can have fun styling your extensions yourself as well!

How long do tape in hair extensions last?
Tape hair extensions need retaping every six to eight weeks. This has to be done in the salon. If the hair is looked after, it can actually last six to 12 months.
How to care for tape hair extensions
- Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours after application. To maintain the quality of your new tape hair extensions, ask us about approved hair care products that are suitable for use.
- We have specific shampoos that we recommend for use on the tape hair extension roots.
- For mid to end of hair (avoid the tape area), use specific conditioners, masks, serums and leave in creams. The serum can be used daily to nourish your extensions.
- Brush your tape hair extensions daily before/after washing, and brush small sections at a single time. Avoid brushing your hair when it is wet, this is when the tape is more vulnerable to slide off.
- It is recommended to have your tape hair extensions re-fitted every 6-10 weeks.
Can I swim with tape hair extensions?
- We can advise you on how to care for your hair during and after swimming.
- It is best to plait or braid your hair when swimming in the ocean as this keeps it all together and minimises pulling.
- Try to avoid contact with chlorine, spray tan and sun screen.
- For ultimate protection when swimming, we recommend brushing your hair and saturating it with S1 serum, S1 mask or S1 leave-in-conditioner.
How much do tape hair extensions cost?
- Tape hair extensions cost between $220-$240 per pack
- Each pack contains 10 sandwiches, which is approximately 50g of hair, depending on the length
